With a goal of immersing myself in traditional Japanese culture, I was delighted by the culinary offerings at the hotel's restaurant that used local ingredients straight from Hida. My meal featured a variety of classic Japanese dishes that were beautifully presented. The fish was fresh, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients; the flavors were bold yet harmonized perfectly on the plate. The ambiance of the dining area was tranquil, allowing for a relaxed experience-ideal after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The staff's attention to detail extended to the dining experience as well, ensuring that everything was just right. It was a delightful treat to enjoy traditional cuisine in such a warm setting, perfectly complementing the charm of the ryokan itself. I left feeling satisfied both in body and spirit, making it a culinary highlight of my trip.
